The "La Artesana" diet jams are sugar free. Fructose is used as a sweetener and they have fewer calories, making them ideal for people who want to reduce the amount of sugar in their diet. The reason they have fewer calories lies in the fact that fructose is sweeter than sugar and, therefore, a smaller amount is added to the jam, which results in a calorie reduction.
